Director of CSB's Invest NYC SDG Initiative, Marianna Koval moderated a panel of experts at the 2022 Practice Forum titled Decarboning NYC's Built Environment. The Climate Mobilization Act and Local Law 97 brings looming carbon caps for more than 28,000 residential and commercial properties across NYC by 2029, or risk of financial penalities. Panelists discussed a new financing tool, Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) loans that provide low-interest capital to make energy efficient retrofits and promote compliance with upcoming regulations.
