On October 26, Professor Tensie Whelan, Director of NYU Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business, welcomed John McAvoy (MBA ’87), Chairman and CEO of Con Edison, to Stern for a conversation entitled, “How Sustainability Drives Success at Con Edison”. McAvoy spoke about the sustainable practices employed at Con Edison and said, “Ethical behavior is doing the right thing, the right way, every day,” said McAvoy. “We work hard to enhance the fabric of the communities that we serve and work in.”
