Claire Kells is the Associate Director of Development and Events for the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business, where she develops and executes the Center’s strategic fundraising initiatives and events.
Previously, Claire served as a Senior Manager for Corporate Engagement with the UN Global Compact, the UN’s corporate sustainability initiative. There she delivered strategy, relationship management, and events to mobilize funding and private sector action to advance sustainable development. Furthermore, she worked to bring the voice of responsible business to major international conferences including the Paris Climate Agreement and the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development.
Throughout her career, Claire has worked with mission-driven organizations to fund and deliver impact. She holds a Masters of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a BA from UC Berkeley. Claire can be reached at claire.kells@stern.nyu.edu.
