ONE432, a company co-founded by NYU Stern alum Umar Belal (MBA '20), was recognized by Poets & Quants as one of 2020's Most Disruptive MBA Startups. The business, which sells a South Asian-inspired "Jutti" shoe and handmade apparel, shares 50% of its profits to artisans and partner schools they work to empower.

ONE432's prioprietary tracking app brings transparency to its committment to share, creating a clear vision for the fashion industry to distribute profits more equitably across its supply chains. Through his courework at Stern and other opportunities, like the Stern Venture Fellowship (SVF), Belal was able to further develop the business model and raise funding.
