To support students who are pursuing careers in social impact and sustainability, NYU organizes several Green Grants to provide funding for impact-driven work.
Sustainability Internship Grant of $3,000

Pursuing an unpaid or low-wage internship related to sustainability or at an environmental organization? Apply for a $3,000 stipend.
Microgrants up to $3,000
Apply on a rolling basis
Apply for projects that advance campus sustainability initiatives or enact social-entrepreneurial ventures. They can be related to operations, engagement, research and design, and academics.
ERJN Seed Funding of $2,000
Apply on a rolling basis
The ERJN supports projects that address issues at the intersection of environmental and racial justice. Funding is available to students graduating May 2023 or later and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Climate Research Seed Grants up to $10,000
Apply by June 5
The Climate Change Research Seed Grants support collaborative, impactful research on climate change that has the potential to attract extramural funding.
