Few topics have aroused as much interest and discussion in the world of business and technology as generative artificial intelligence (GenAI).

NYU Stern welcomed back over 1,450 registered alumni and friends for Reunion 2024, a three-day event that took place on Friday, May 3–Sunday, May 5. Alumni from the Class of 2023 and class years ending in ’4 and ’9 gathered to reconnect, reminisce, and create new memories.

The lessons that athletes learn from playing sports are often transferable to life, whether it’s working as a team, seizing the moment, or taking risks. Jason Pearson (BS ’25) has played baseball since he was five, captained his high school varsity team, and pitches for the NYU Violets.

Rebecca Whitney (MBA ’25) knows the ups and downs of professional sports, having spent eight years as a professional slackliner and trickliner. Slacklining is a sport similar to tightrope walking, and tricklining is the extreme version, involving bouncing, flipping, and spinning above the line.

On April 18, 2024, NYU Stern hosted the Haskins Giving Society Award Dinner, an annual gala that brings together the School’s most generous and loyal donors. This year, more than 400 attendees gathered at The Plaza to honor Andre J.L.

On March 13, 2024, Stern hosted a reception to recognize and celebrate Stern’s undergraduate and graduate scholarship donors for their generosity and to provide an opportunity for donors to meet their scholarship recipients.
