NYU Stern Alumnae Come Together for the Inaugural Stern Women’s Forum Event
On November 19, 2024, NYU Stern launched a new initiative, the Stern Women's Forum, at Chief's NYC Clubhouse. The launch reception, co-hosted by members of Stern’s Alumni Council, brought together dedicated alumnae across degree programs to mark the School's ongoing commitment to supporting women business leaders.
The Stern Women's Forum is a comprehensive leadership initiative dedicated to the advancement of the Stern alumnae community. The platform aims to strengthen the professional success of women and reinforce Stern's reputation as a leading business school that celebrates and promotes the global economic value of all genders. Through impactful programming, thought leadership, and networking opportunities, members of SWF will have access to resources that foster career growth, build meaningful connections, and create pathways for giving back to the Stern community.
"SWF marks an exciting moment in how we serve and connect with our alumnae," said Erin Malone, executive director of Alumni Relations. "We're diving in to create new opportunities for mentorship and professional development among our extraordinarily accomplished graduates."
Cathy Choi (MBA ’96), president of Bulbrite and Stern Alumni Council liaison to SWF, delivered the welcome remarks. "Through our collective efforts, the Stern Women’s Forum will shine a light on this powerful community. We hope to inspire, and be inspired by, all of you.”

Programming will include a panel co-hosted with Stern's Center for Business and Human Rights on gender equity in investing; a screening of the documentary, Show Her The Money, a film about women in venture capital; and the opportunity for continued mentorship through the online mentoring and engagement platform, Stern Network.
