7th Annual EMT Summit | Streaming Wars: The Battle for Eyes, Ears and Revenues

On November 20, the NYU Stern Entertainment, Media and Technology Alumni Group and the Office of Alumni Relations hosted the 7th annual EMT Summit. The event brought together Stern alumni, students, and industry professionals to learn and network over a shared interest in the entertainment, media and tech space. Paul Hardart, clinical professor of marketing and director of the EMT program, moderated the event and Professor Scott Galloway delivered the keynote during which he shared a brand new No Mercy / No Malice perspective on the biggest trends, strategies, and innovations in the streaming media industry today. His talk was followed by panel discussions with industry leaders—many of whom are Stern alumni— about the evolution of audio and video streaming services. Panelists included:
