Raghu Sundaram
Raghu Sundaram is Dean and the Edward I. Altman Professor of Credit and Debt Markets at NYU Stern School of Business. He was appointed Dean on January 1, 2018, having previously served as Vice Dean for MBA Programs and Online Learning. As Dean, and previously Vice Dean of MBA Programs and Online Learning, Dean Sundaram has led the launch of multiple new degree programs, Stern’s entry into online education, and the establishment of several new, high-profile initiatives at the intersection of entrepreneurship and technology. He also established the School’s first Office of Diversity and Inclusion.Dean Sundaram has taught at Stern since 1996, and was previously on the faculty at the University of Rochester. He has authored two books and published extensively in leading academic and practitioner-oriented journals. He was the inaugural recipient of the 2007 Stern Distinguished Teaching Award. He holds a BA in economics from the University of Madras, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a PhD in economics from Cornell University.

 

Yakov Amihud
Yakov Amihud is Ira Rennert Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at the Stern School of Business, New York University. His research includes the evaluation of corporate financial policies, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, objectives of corporate managers, dividend policy, and law and finance.

The focus of his research is the effects of liquidity of assets on their returns and values, and the design and evaluation of securities markets' trading methods. On these topics, Amihud has done consulting work for the NYSE, AMEX, CBOE, CBOT, and other securities markets. He has published more than seventy research articles in professional journals and in books, and edited and co-edited five books on topics such as LBOs, bank M&As, international finance, and securities market design.
