March 27, 2024 marked the 8th annual NYU One Day, the University-wide day of giving that rallies the entire community of  alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends around support for our students. For the 8th year running, NYU Stern led the way with the most donors across all Schools at NYU.

The School raised $7.02 million from more than 1,700 donors—a significant increase over last year’s $6.13 million from 1,600 donations. Members of the Stern Executive Board and the Alumni Council generously matched all gifts up to $2 million, a testament to the collective spirit and generosity that defines the NYU Stern community. Ameeta (MBA ’92) and Varun Gosain seeded a $10,000 challenge to inspire 150 members of the Stern 10 alumni community (alumni from 2013 and beyond), and Maggie Arvedlund (MBA ’07) funded a $25,000 challenge to encourage more than 150 donors to support Stern’s Advancing Women in Business Fund.

The collective support of the Stern community on One Day goes directly to student scholarships, faculty research, and School initiatives that enrich the student experience.
