Dean Henry Joins Alumni in Rome for a Special Event
—
NYU Stern had the wonderful opportunity to host a special event in Rome, Italy, made possible by Anne Tasca (BS '88) and Eileen Tasca, generous supporters of the School. Dean Peter Henry was joined by NYU Prof. Giampiero M. Gallo, Professor of Econometrics at Università di Firenze and Economic Advisor, Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, in a conversation about the global economy and how it relates to Italy and the European Union.
Close to 100 people attended the event, which was open to Stern and all NYU alumni, truly showcasing the international reach of the NYU community. The alumni in attendance had the chance to connect with each other and listen to a thought-provoking discussion.
The event was held on Sept. 3 at Centro Studi Americani, a historic culture center and library built before World War II to bring together the American and Italian cultures. Afterward, participants were invited to a dinner hosted by Anne and Eileen Tasca.
