NYU approved catering firms have been awarded contracts to provide catering services ranging from the simple delivery of food to formal full service high profile events. Read more about NYU’s insurance requirements, purchasing policies, and event contracts.
 

Stern-specific guidelines:

• A minimum of $500 is required for catering orders. Last minute changes to catering, including menu and number revisions, will be accommodated when possible. Menu substitutions may be made at the discretion of the caterer to ensure quality.
• Catering guarantees are needed one week in advance unless otherwise stated in the proposal/contract.
• Cancellation of catering services made within 72 hours of the event may incur a cancellation fee.
• The Special Events Office will order flowers for catered events only.
