Why did you decide to pursue the focused one-year MBA program?

The accelerated format allows me to dive deep into tech, gain relevant skills, and return to the workforce in a shorter time frame, surrounded by a dynamic and like-minded cohort.

How would you describe the culture and community within your class?

The culture and community within my class is incredibly collaborative and supportive. Everyone is eager to help each other succeed, fostering a close-knit environment where we all push each other to grow both personally and professionally.

Why did you choose NYU Stern?

I chose NYU Stern because it was the only business school I applied to. During my time at Morgan Stanley, I worked with MBA graduates from various top programs, but I found myself most drawn to the people from Stern. Their collaborative, driven, and entrepreneurial spirit aligned with my own values, and I knew I wanted to be part of that community. Stern’s location in the heart of New York City, with its incredible diversity and energy, only strengthened my decision to pursue my MBA there.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

My advice for prospective students applying to Stern is to be authentic and clear about your goals. Stern values individuality and leadership, so focus on showcasing what makes you unique and how you plan to contribute to the community.

How has Stern’s location in NYC impacted your experience?

Being in NYC provides constant access to industry leaders, networking opportunities, and fun events. The city’s diversity and energy have allowed me to engage with a wide range of professionals, attend events, and take advantage of partnerships that only NYC can offer, making my learning truly immersive and dynamic.
