Office for Diversity and Inclusion | Jewish Faculty and Staff Affinity Group

NYU Stern’s Jewish Affinity Group offers a safe space for all faculty and staff who identify as Jewish, as well as those who wish to learn more about Judaism and/or support the Jewish community. We aim to cultivate an equitable community for NYU Stern Jewish employees, through regular social gatherings and discussion groups. We seek to offer educational events and resources to learn about and celebrate Jewish culture and history.

1) Offer a safe space for those who identify as Jewish and those who support the Jewish community.
2) Celebrate Jewish culture through fun and educational cultural events.
3) Process and engage in discussions surrounding antisemitism and current events impacting the Jewish community on campus and at large.
4) Create educational opportunities and trainings about general principles of Judaism, major holidays, and more.
