Mission Statment
Our mission is to cultivate spaces of celebration and visibility for the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) community, honoring our diverse cultures, histories, and identities. We are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment by amplifying voices, sharing stories, and promoting understanding. Through advocacy, education, and solidarity, we strive to build a space where every member of our community feels valued, respected, and seen.
APIDA Goals
Come together to celebrate and share experiences of being APIDA in Higher Education
Establish a community that fosters a sense of mutual support among members.
Create a series of meaningful educational and cultural initiatives for the NYU Stern community.
Initiate relationship-building efforts with other APIDA student, faculty, and staff communities across Stern and NYU.
