BALA Mission Statement

The Black and Latino Alumni (BALA) Group fosters engagement and support within the NYU Stern community. Events, in partnership with school offices, cater to prospective students, current students, and alumni. Join us for diverse programming, including MBA Admissions events, undergraduate programs, and thought leadership sessions for Hispanic Heritage and Black History Months, alongside various social and educational events throughout the year.

Aligned with the Stern Alumni Council’s broader objectives, BALA is dedicated to fostering a more vibrant BALA community. Our key goals include reinforcing the BALA brand, showcasing the diversity within our alumni network, and actively involving current Breakthrough and Berkley Achievement Scholars, SEAD and AHBBS students to cultivate a pipeline of future BALA members. Join us for year-round engagement!
