Derivatives Conference: State of the Art

The most important event for the Derivatives Research Project is our major derivatives conference, held once every three years on average, to review the current "state-of-the-art." Academics present their own work and discuss what is being done at the frontiers of derivatives research, while practitioners describe the latest developments in the marketplace and regulators explain how they are dealing with the challenges this innovation presents.

These events have been extremely successful, drawing top researchers from the academic and practitioner communities. Audiences are large and diverse, comprised of faculty and students, practitioners from the finance community, regulators, and finance journalists.

A new feature introduced with the 2007 conference is to record and post videos of the presentations, making it possible for anyone in the world with a connection to the Internet to benefit from these extraordinary conferences.
