BIOGRAPHY:
William N. (Bill) Hait is Executive Vice President, Chief External Innovation and Medical Officer. He is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Executive Committee.

He is responsible for leading the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Interventional Oncology, and Johnson & Johnson Innovation teams that center on profoundly impacting health for humanity.

Bill joined Johnson & Johnson in 2007. He has served in a variety of roles, including Global Therapeutic Area Head for Oncology, the Global Head for Janssen Research & Development, and Global Head, Johnson & Johnson External Innovation.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson, he was the founding Director of the (Rutgers) Cancer Institute of New Jersey. From 1993 to 2007 he was Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology and Associate Dean for Oncology Programs at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey -- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Bill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and since that time has contributed to transforming the lives of millions of people around the world.
