Lottery & Registration Process
Lottery Timeline
- The Summer 2025 lottery submission period runs from February 19th through March 11th (11:59pm).
- The lottery process will run from March 12th through March 31st.
- Add/drop will begin on April 1st.

Please be aware that payment is due on or before May 6, 2025 for continuing students.
After you register, it is your responsibility to check My Academic Progress to review your graduation requirements and ensure your status has been accurately recorded.

You can search by department or print the entire schedule. Any schedule or instructor changes will be updated in real-time. - Plan Out Your Course Schedule
You must be currently enrolled or have maintained matriculation in the Spring 2025 semester to be eligible to lottery and to register. Use the Schedule Worksheet before you submit your lottery request. - Langone MBA Students
- Students may lottery for up to 12 credits in the Summer (6 credits - Summer 1 & 6 credits - Summer 2)
- Spring 2025 Admits: The next set of basic core courses will automatically appear in your lottery selections. You must submit these selections along with any added choices and reorder primary rankings to be evaluated in the lottery review.
- Weeknight, O/M Program Students: Must submit COR1-GB 1303 Firms and Markets & COR1-GB 1306 Financial Account and Reporting.
- Weekend Program Students: Must submit COR1-GB 2310 Marketing & COR1-GB 2311 Foundations of Finance.
- Fall 2024 Admits: The following core courses should be completed during the Summer 2025 term as part of your program sequence, if you have not already done so:
- COR1-GB 2310 (Marketing) and COR1-GB 2311 (Foundations of Finance)
- Please refer to the Langone Course Planning Guide to get a sense of when courses are typically offered.
- Ensure your expected graduation date is up to date by updating it in Albert.
- Langone students who would like to take credits in excess of their semester maximum may apply for an Acceleration through Academic Affairs & Advising.

- Modules with NYC Immersion
- Combination of asynchronous online learning with on-campus immersions.
- Specific business theme for each module.

- Online-Modular MBA Students
- The Summer Hybrid Modules is a combination of asynchronous online learning with on-campus immersions.

- Students must enroll in the entire module and take all three courses.

Your NYU email login & password are required. If you have forgotten your login/password, contact ITS at 212-998-3333 or AskIT@nyu.edu.- Upon submission, students will receive an email confirmation of their registration lottery selections. Please retain this email for verification purposes.
- Within the registration lottery, we suggest assigning top rank (i.e., primary #1) to your most valued course. The next prioritized course should then be ranked as "primary # 2", etc. Include alternate courses for each primary class so that you may get preference for the alternate in case your primary is closed. Including alternates does NOT reduce your chances of getting a primary choice. It helps to increase the possibility you will end up with a schedule of classes that suits your preferences.

Summer 2021 - View your Lottery Results & Make Schedule Adjustments (Begins April 1st)
- Registration lottery results will be posted according to your graduation date. You will be able to add/drop courses in real-time (class availability changes as classes open and close).

This includes payment instructions, tuition and fees (any late fees, if applicable), dates and deadlines. Please review before submitting your payment. Please be aware that payment is due on or before May 6th for Langone continuing students.
