The Finals Fairies are here!
Thanks to the NYU Stern Student Council Health & Wellness Committee, the Finals Fairies are wandering around campus, bestowing gifts to studious students! Watch the video on social media and comment with your favorite study spot, wellness tip, or word of encouragement to your peers during finals, and like magic, you’ll be entered to win one a great prize, like a Starbucks gift card, adorable fuzzy socks, or a stress-relieving coloring book.
The contest ends on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:59PM EST. Winners will be contacted the next day, and will have until Friday, January 26 at 5:00 PM EST to pick up your prize.
Contest Eligibility Requirements and Conditions
Participants must be current NYU Stern undergraduate students.
Your comment must contain a study location, wellness tip, or word of encouragement.
All comments must be in good taste and keeping within the generous and caring spirit of the Finals Fairies. I.e. they must be informative, useful, and encouraging to classmates.
Comments must be in reply to the video from @SternStuCo and/or @SternUC.
Video and/or promotional posts will be posted by @SternStuCo @SternUC on multiple channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Multiple comments on only one of these channels will not make you eligible for multiple entries. However, a comment each of these channels will increase your chances for winning. Comments can be the same across different channels.
Scenario 1: Leonard Stern comments on the Finals Fairy video on Facebook with his favorite study spot: the Century 21 Lounge. Later on, he comments – still on Facebook – that his favorite wellness tip is sitting as still as a statue and focusing on his breathing for a minute. Leonard is only entered once to win.
Scenario 2: Leonard replies to the Finals Fairy Facebook video with his favorite study spot. He sees a promotional post on Instagram, and comments there with his favorite wellness tip. Leonard is entered twice to win.
You must be following @SternStuCo (Instagram | Facebook) and @SternUC (Instagram | Facebook) on the channel of your entry to be eligible.
NYU Stern undergraduate students studying abroad can also participate! All entries may be used for future marketing purposes.
Winner Selection and Prizes
30 winners will be chosen at random. (Your chances are great!)
Prizes include:
10 stress-relieving coloring books
6 pairs of cozy, fuzzy socks
7 $10 Starbucks gift cards
Winners will be contacted on the social media platform on which they submitted to verify their name and arrange their prizes and may pick them up at any point thereafter, until Friday, February 2 and at 5:00 PM EST.
