The information on the International Student Supplement below must be completed in full by all non-U.S. citizens, including non-resident aliens (those holding F, J, or trainee visas) and foreign government officials. U.S. permanent residents are not required to complete the International Student Supplement. This information does not affect your admission to NYU Stern.
The International Student Supplement is divided into two sections:
1. Visa status
If you are currently in the U.S., list the type of visa you hold and the name of your sponsor.
2. Permanent Foreign Address
All universities in the U.S. must comply with the SEVIS database created by the U.S. federal government. All non-U.S. citizens must provide a permanent international address. If the mailing address you provided in Personal Information Part I is different from your permanent address in your country of citizenship, please provide your permanent address in the International Student Supplement. The address cannot include a post office box.
Pathway to the MBA for international students without the necessary visa to study in the Part-time MBA Program
For international students who do not have the visa necessary for part-time study in the U.S., NYU Stern provides an alternative pathway to an MBA via our online Master of Science in Quantitative Management (MSQM) Program. In this pathway, students complete a curriculum very similar to the MBA core, primarily online with two New York City residencies over long weekends, both required. Toward the end of the MSQM Program, students may transfer to the Langone Part-Time MBA Program and complete their electives in the Online/Modular option.
The MSQM Program’s unique design fully leverages the potential of online learning and provides both convenience and flexibility for students in any time zone and location. To learn more about the MSQM Program and the pathway to the Langone Part-Time MBA Program, please contact MSQM Admissions at admchair@stern.nyu.edu.
