Apply Today for the Class of 2026

The Admissions Committee is now accepting applications for the MSFT Class of 2026, which begins in May of 2025. The application deadlines for the MSFT Class of 2026 are as follows:

  • Early Action Deadline: November 15th, 2024 - Apply early to receive an expedited review of your application
  • Regular Decision Deadline: January 24th, 2025 - Apply to receive your decision in three to four weeks
  • Final Decision Deadline: March 15th, 2025 - Apply before this date to be considered for the MSFT Class of 2026

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and a decision will be made within 3-4 weeks after the application becomes complete.

Admissions Criteria

The MS in Fintech Program is designed for experienced professionals who recognize the growth of fintech and are looking to advance their skillset in this dynamic and rapidly growing sector.

To apply to the Master of Science in Fintech Program, you must have:

  • A completed bachelor's degree and strong Grade Point Average 
  • Professional, full-time, post-undergraduate work experience (internships and trainee positions excluded)
  • Demonstrated academic preparedness, through prior coursework, professional experience, and/or certifications

Admissions Process

MSFT prerequisites

The Admissions Process is rigorous and selective. We consider an applicant's candidacy holistically based on the qualities they will bring to the MSFT program. To begin:
 
STEP ONE
Submit your resume with the preliminary information form, which will assist the Admissions Committee in advising you on your suitability for the program. The Admissions Office will contact you within one week to confirm receipt and to follow up on any questions you may have about the program or application process.
 
STEP TWO
Complete the online application.  ​As part of the online application, we will need the following:

  • One essay (topic provided on application platform)
  • Resume
  • One recommendation from a current or most recent supervisor (to be submitted via an online form on the application system)
  • Official transcripts in English
    • Official transcripts must be submitted to the Admissions Committee and sent directly from the university where you received your degree
  • Copy of front (photo) page of passport
  • Non-refundable application fee of $103
  • *GMAT and GRE not required for this program

Please note that you may submit your application for initial review even if recommendations or transcripts are still being processed or are not yet ready to be submitted. 

Prior to starting the program, enrolled students will be required to acknowledge that they have communicated the time commitment the program requires to their employers.

STEP THREE (Invitation Only)
Complete an admissions interview. Should the Admissions Committee feel positive about your candidacy upon review of a completed application, we will contact you to schedule an admissions interview.

Prior to starting the program, enrolled students will be required to acknowledge that they have communicated the time commitment the program requires to their employers.
