Investment Philosophies course image
In this course, students will look at a range of investment philosophies with the intent of finding not only the core beliefs that animate them, but also the ingredients needed to make them work. Students will look at the historical evidence in support of or working against each philosophy and what they need to bring to the table to succeed with that philosophy. In the process, Professor Aswath Damodaran hopes that students will find an investment philosophy that best fits them, given their individual strengths and weaknesses.

We bring New York City right into our classroom with adjuncts who work in industry and teach our students. And we partner with companies on real-world projects through our Stern Solutions offerings. Alumni are a quick walk or subway ride away for networking.  Not to mention that students can readily explore the city’s culture from food to art to music and more.'”

Professor Michael Posner interview: "NYU Stern’s Center For Business & Human Rights: A First For B-Schools Around The World."

Poets and Quants logo
Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "I think we have, over eight years, demonstrated that this is a real subject, that it can be done with academic rigor, and it can actually make a difference. The reality is these are the issues that a lot of business leaders struggle with. These are the things that keep leaders of Fortune 500 companies up at night, often when they get caught in the middle of a crisis. It’s important for business schools, teaching the next generations of leaders, to prepare corporate leaders about the subject."

Vice Dean of Online Learning Kim Corfman podcast interview: "What’s New at NYU Stern’s Online Masters of Science in Quantitative Management."

Accepted_Logo_190x145
Excerpt from Accepted.com-- "The MSQM provides business basics, essentially, the MBA core plus analytics courses. The combination is designed to help students become data-literate managers and leaders. That’s the really short headline about it. It’s 20 months from start to finish and it’s lock-step, so there are no electives. Students take one course at a time for three to three and a half weeks per course. They come one right on top of the next and are pretty intense, but we’ve calibrated them so they are manageable for motivated students."
