Faculty Grant Program
The Center for Global Economy and Business offers research grants for projects related to its four faculty research groups. These grants exist to allow faculty to do things that normal STARS allocations are insufficient to support. They are strictly for research, not teaching, and must be related to the topics covered by one or more of the research groups. Examples of activities the center might fund include: data purchase, hiring a research assistant or running a conference. Grants will typically complement some contribution from a faculty member's own research funds. At the margin, preference shall be given to promising projects being undertaken by junior faculty and projects that benefit more than one researcher. Any full-time Stern faculty member may apply.
