NYU Technology Venture Competition Winner
NYU Technology Venture Competition prize of $75,000 was awarded to Skinesiology.

Skinesiology was founded by five students in the NYU School of Medicine (graduating in 2017). The founders Franklin Yao, Jeffrey Huang, Jenny Chen, Josh Phelps, and Ryan Grattan created a fitness that fits you. Skinesiology's fitness tights create a unique resistance that increases muscle activation and therefore helps people burn more calories during daily activities.
The Technology Venture Competition is co-sponsored by the NYU Innovation Venture Fund, EisnerAmper LLP and Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
Social Venture Competition Winner
The Social Venture Prize of $50,000 was awarded to Codesters.

Codesters, founded by Gordon Smith (NYU Stern MBA '06), David Oblath, and Manesh Patel, aims to teach a million kids to code. Codesters integrates cloud based coding environment with a coding curriculum in order to provide a solution for schools and teachers.
New Venture Competition Winner:
The NYU New Venture Prize of $75,000, made possible by a gift from Stern Board of Overseers member Ira Leon Rennert (MBA ‘56), was awarded to HireCanvas.

HireCanvas founders Scott Holand (NYU Stern MBA 2014) and Kevin George were awarded the final prize for their web and mobile platform that makes entry-level recruiting events more valuable to recruiters, students, and universities. HireCanvas provides a platform for recruiters to more easily manage and analyze the interactions with prospective candidates.
