Letter from the Director
Welcome to the NYU Stern Master in Risk Management program! We are looking forward to meeting you in May in New York City. Your cohort is a group of accomplished risk professionals from around the globe who will be bringing a range of perspectives from a wide variety of industry sectors and who, we are confident, will make your experience with the MSRM program an especially enriching one.
You will meet these classmates during your initial module at NYU’s campus in the heart of Greenwich Village. They will become an integral part of your year with Stern, when you come together in subsequent modules in Europe and Asia and when you team with them on projects throughout the program, culminating in the Strategic Capstone. Take the opportunity to get to know your classmates outside the confines of the campus.
You will find some useful tools on this website to help you navigate the opportunities and requirements of the MSRM experience.
We understand that you have ahead of you a challenging year, especially because of the demands on your time. It’s no small thing to manage a full-time job, rigorous coursework, and often a family life, not to mention traveling for more than five weeks of learning. What you’ve committed to is enormous, and I have no doubt you will hone your time management skills to new levels to accomplish it.
