Doing Business in... (DBi) Program

Providing transformative global opportunities with partner universities

Doing Business In... (DBi)

DBi courses enable students to explore how business is conducted in another country and develop a deeper understanding of the issues, opportunities, and challenges faced by businesses operating there. These one-week or two-week intensive programs include classes, corporate visits, speakers, and cultural visits. These courses are taught in partnership with local MBA universities at the DBi destination, and led by local faculty. DBi programs bring Stern students to countries all around the globe.

The DBi Program plays a significant role in Stern’s globally-focused academic positioning and sense of community. Through DBi, students gain an awareness of the kinds of differences one may find when doing business in other parts of the world. These unique, transformative experiences broaden students' cultural awareness, change their worldviews, and create a lasting sense of community within their cohorts.

All MBA students are eligible to participate in DBi's. Focused MBA students may be eligible depending on course travel dates. Please contact the Global Education team (intl@stern.nyu.edu) for more information.
