This summer, I had the opportunity to work as an MBA Fellow at Streetlife Ventures, an early-stage VC fund dedicated to climate tech investments. During my time there, I deepened my understanding of the climate tech landscape and contributed to the development of investment theses for key verticals, including Energy, Building, Water & Waste, Mobility, and Adaptation & Resilience. One of the most exciting aspects of my fellowship was leading the due diligence on an early-stage climate tech startup. This process involved in-depth market analysis, financial modeling, and assessing the company’s potential for scalability and impact.
Collaborating with experts, founders, and investors provided invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the climate tech sector. This hands-on experience in due diligence helped me sharpen my analytical skills and further solidified my passion for identifying and supporting innovative solutions that drive both financial returns and positive environmental outcomes.
This fellowship reinforced my passion for climate investments and sustainable innovation, while also helping me apply the skills I’ve been honing at Stern to real-world challenges. My time at Streetlife Ventures has further solidified my commitment to working at the intersection of finance and sustainability, and I’m excited to continue this journey to make a meaningful impact.
