Friday, May 22, 2020 – Congratulations to the NYU Stern Graduate Class of 2020! Today, we collectively come together as a Stern community, albeit virtually, to celebrate your hard work and academic accomplishments.
It is difficult to express how tremendously proud and impressed all of us at the School are of your unwavering perseverance over the last few months, especially in light of the challenging circumstances we have all endured. Your steadfast dedication to completing your degree exemplifies our community’s commitment to embracing change in today’s dynamic business environment.
Stern’s Graduate Class of 2020 has left an indelible mark on the history of our School. Your strength of character, your courage and your compassion throughout the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is nothing short of remarkable. The ways in which you have showed up for one another perfectly demonstrates one of the School’s most cherished core values – an uncommonly connected community.
On this celebration website, you’ll find a collection of reflections and photos submitted by hundreds of graduates. We encourage all of you, with family and friends alike, to explore the diverse memories shared by your fellow graduates – a lovely tribute to the shared experiences of NYU Stern’s Graduate Class of 2020.
Finally, as many of you know, the administration – in partnership with members of your graduating class – is actively developing plans to reconvene in NYC, in-person, to properly fête the Class of 2020 when it’s safe to do so in the future. We very much look forward to that day!
On behalf of the faculty and administration, congratulations once again and please keep in touch!
