Biography

Omar Mouchtaki joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Technology, Operations, and Statistics in July 2024.

His research aims at bridging the gap between the theory and the practice of data-driven decision-making. His research draws on tools from optimization, probability, game theory, and statistical learning. He has worked on problems related to revenue management, inventory management, and assortment optimization.

He received his PhD in Operations Research from Columbia Business School and his BS and MS in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from École Polytechnique (Paris).
