Excerpt from Clear Admit-- "Once I learned about the Fertitta Veterans Program, I became fully invested in earning admission to Stern. The Fertitta Veterans Program was created thanks to a generous gift from alumnus Lorenzo Fertitta (MBA ’93) and brother Frank J. Fertitta III and designed to support the transition to business school of US military vets and active duty students. Stern’s commitment to advancing the Veteran community crystallized my realization that Stern was the school for me."

—
Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "The class that has been the most valuable in building this startup for me would be “Getting to Launch: The Lean Startup“ with Professor Cynthia Franklin. This class took me through the ways in which to launch a startup and how to continuously be iterating to create a product that could quickly find product market fit. This class highlighted the need to move fast and put your product out instead of focusing on perfection over the timing. That lesson was invaluable for me in my startup journey."

Stern's record-breaking two-year Full-time MBA 2021 Employment Report is highlighted; Associate Dean of Career Services Beth Briggs is interviewed: "Another Leading U.S. B-School Reports Rising MBA Salaries In A Strong Jobs Report."
—
Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "Not that Stern had a huge hole to climb out of — last year’s jobs report, while reflecting the reality of a market in the throes of a global pandemic, included plenty of evidence that MBAs from NYU find the jobs they want, where they want, for the salaries they want. This year continues the trend, with Stern’s Class of 2021 setting new school records in compensation, overall job acceptance rate, and international job acceptance rate — among other (mostly) positively trending numbers."
“'For more than a year the world has contended with an unprecedented amount of change, but one constant has been the continued success of our students,' says Beth Briggs, NYU Stern’s associate dean of career services. 'Our talented MBA graduates have proven time and time again that they are adept at not only embracing, but also leading, change. And employers took note as this year yielded record-breaking employment outcomes for Stern’s full-time two-year MBA Class of 2021.'"

Assistant Dean of MBA Admissions Lisa Rios in-depth Q&A interview: "Admissions Director Q&A: Lisa Rios of NYU Stern School of Business."
—
Excerpt from Clear Admit-- "To best meet the needs of candidates, we have refined the 2021-2022 application and also created a new element that is especially relevant. As we’ve found many applicants are ready to apply earlier than ever, we moved up our first two application deadlines by a month because we’re eager to provide decisions to those individuals as soon as we can. As far as our essays, we introduced a new prompt based on Stern’s brand call to action around embracing change – a prescient call we launched before the pandemic whose relevancy increased by the day. This essay gives candidates a creative opportunity to demonstrate how they align with our values and respond to change, a skill which is more important than ever for their future careers."
