On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff of the Chao-Hon Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance, welcome to NYU for the inaugural Berkadia & NYU | Stern Multifamily Investment Case Competition.

We look forward to hosting you—some of the best and brightest MBA students from across the country—on our campus and in our great city for three days of vibrant and collegial competition, industry engagement, cultural immersion, and new friendships.

We are grateful to our partners at Berkadia, as well as the faculty advisors, speakers, and judges who have committed so much time to make this program a success. The competition judges represent some of the most impactful organizations in shaping policy and real-world outcomes for American families grappling with the reality of housing unaffordability. I join them in welcoming your fresh perspectives on how we can address long-standing obstacles to our workforce housing needs.

We hope to spark and fan a flame of curiosity that will increase your opportunities and future within an incredibly rewarding industry — Justin Wheeler | CEO | BERKADIA
