Speaker Bio

Mary C. Daly is president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In 2024, she is a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee, the monetary policymaking body of the Federal Reserve System. Daly assumed leadership of the San Francisco Fed in 2018, building on a distinguished career as a labor economist, policy advisor, and leader. Daly’s extensive research portfolio covers a broad range of topics that are centered on understanding how the economy works for people. Her work has been published in major journals and used in many aspects of monetary and public policy formation.
