Two New Assistant Deans Appointed in the Undergraduate College

The undergraduate college is kicking off this semester with exciting additions to the Undergraduate College deans team.

TiTiffany Boselli Leadership Thumbnail Imageffany Boselli has been promoted to Assistant Dean of Academic Advising and Judicial Affairs. Assistant Dean Boselli came to NYU Stern from Georgetown University where she was Assistant Director of Student Conduct in the student affairs division, and Director of Campus Programs in their undergraduate admissions office. Prior to that, she served in the United States Foreign Service as a consular officer. Assistant Dean Boselli joined the NYU Stern Undergraduate College in 2002 and has held a series of progressively responsible roles, most recently as Director of Academic Advising. During her time at Stern, she has proven to be a true leader, bringing the reach and quality of our advising efforts to new levels of excellence. In her new role, Assistant Dean Boselli will continue to lead our advising efforts, and will also oversee Judicial Affairs at the Undergraduate College, working closely with faculty, students and our partners across the University.

Scott Stimpfel
, an NYU Stern MBA alum, has joined the Undergraduate College Scott Stimpfel Largeteam as Assistant Dean of Student Engagement and Innovation. Assistant Dean Stimpfel is finalizing his EdD with an emphasis on Educational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as Director of and Strategic Consultant to the Knowledge@Wharton High School program. Prior to this, Assistant Dean Stimpfel was a Vice President in the Esoteric Assets and Residential Mortgage Finance division at Lehman Brothers, during which time he received his MBA from the NYU Stern-Lehman Brother's Alliance Program. He also co-founded a non-profit organization, Resources for Educational and Employment Opportunities (REEO), and won NYU Stern’s Satter Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2010. In his new role here, Assistant Dean Stimpfel will oversee student professional development initiatives, working closely with the NYU Wasserman Center, Stern's Office of Alumni Affairs & Development and the Undergraduate College Student Life team. He will work with students, alumni and employers to help raise the profile of the Undergraduate College and enhance student engagement and professional development.

Assistant Deans Boselli and Stimpfel join the Undergraduate College leadership team, and join Dean Geeta Menon, Associate Dean Rohit Deo, and Assistant Dean Diann Witt's goal of taking the undergraduate community to even higher heights in 2013.
