Kim has extensive and diverse corporate, career coaching and leadership experience. Prior to joining Stern in 2022, she led career coaching, employer relations and operations teams at the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Before pivoting into career services, she spent 20 years in corporate marketing roles including Director of Multicultural Marketing at Verizon, Director of Brand and Partnership Marketing at Avis Rent a Car and Brand Manager at Kraft Foods and Mondelez. She is thrilled to share all that she learned as a marketer/corporate executive and hiring manager with the next generation of corporate leaders.

Education: MBA in Marketing, Management & Strategy, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. BFA in Advertising Design, Syracuse University.

Genevieve has over 10 years of experience as a people leader and as a career and leadership development expert.  She enjoys using design thinking to lead others through the process of achieving meaningful careers.  Prior to joining Stern in 2020, she led coaching, career education and employer relations teams at the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development after a pivot from K12 education and social impact work.

Allyson Dhindsa (she/her/hers)

Senior Associate Director of Career Coaching

 

Allyson has a decade of experience providing innovative career education, advising, and readiness training for undergraduates, graduates, and alumni. Prior to Stern, she managed career education at the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, and before that, she worked at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Allyson conducted her capstone research while at the University of Pennsylvania on improving and scaling the traditional model of career services. She previously worked at Eleven Madison Park and the Anti-Defamation League, where she cultivated her love for service of all kinds.

Education: B.A. in Jewish Studies from Emory University; M.S.W. from Fordham University, Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania

Yaniv Kleinman (he/him/el)

Associate Director of Career Coaching

 

As an Associate Director of Career Coaching at NYU Stern School of Business, Yaniv (pronounced “Ya-Neev”) leverages his 8+ years of experience in career coaching, global education, diversity and inclusion, and project management to guide and support MBA students in their career development and job search. His mission is to empower students to discover and pursue their passions, interests, and goals, and to equip them with the skills and strategies they need to succeed in the competitive and dynamic business world. At Stern, he’s the Founder and Co-Chair of th Latinx Affinity Group, a space to gather employees who identify as Latinx/Hispanic, namely people of Latin American cultural or ethnic identity in the United States. 

Before coming to Stern, worked as Assistant Director for NYU’s Office of Wasserman Center for Career Development, where he coached undergraduate students and managed programs for first-generation college students, and supported initiatives centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion. He also conducted research and helped write “The Myth of the Entrepreneur” by the author Ravi Kailas while he lived in Madrid, Spain. Prior to that, he held various career-related positions at the University of Chicago, including supporting Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital competitions at Chicago Booth and coaching students interested in tech, entrepreneurship, journalism, arts, and media at the Office of Career Development. He is originally from Bogotá, Colombia.

Associate Director of Career Coaching

 

Fatim’s career has always included working with graduate/professional students. She began her career journey as a Career Counselor at Fordham University where she supported graduate students in the school of education, arts and sciences, and alumni. She then came to NYU where she initially served as  Assistant Director of Graduate Career Development at the Wasserman Center for Career Development. In her role, she supported over 20,000 graduate students (Masters and PhDs) across the university. During her time at NYU Wasserman, she designed and facilitated peer coaching programs, presentations at professional career development conferences, and wrote career articles for NACE and NCDA.

Education: B.A. in Psychology from Purchase College, M.S in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University, M.S in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting at NYU School of Professional Studies

Lindsay Unger (she/her/hers)

Director of Career Education

 

Lindsay joined Stern’s Careers team in 2015. She serves as a coach for both the full-time and part-time MBA programs where she has acquired extensive experience supporting international students and can leverage her passion for helping students find professional fulfillment. Additionally, one of Lindsay’s primary responsibilities is managing the Careers team’s IGNITE program. Prior to Stern, Lindsay worked at NYU’s Wasserman Center for Career Development and The Wharton School at UPenn in roles focused on international education. 

Education: Lindsay has an M.S.Ed. in Intercultural Communication from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Spanish Studies from the University of Delaware.

Career Coach

 

Allison is a Career Coach on the Full-time MBA Team. She has 20+ years of experience in the career coaching and recruiting space. Allison spent 15+ years at Stern as a Senior Associate Director of Career Coaching on the Full-time MBA Team and the Working Professionals Team, where she developed and delivered workshops on all aspects of the career search and provided individual and group coaching. Additionally, Allison worked in Admissions at Stern interviewing MBA applicants and served as an Adjunct Professor at NYU Steinhardt teaching their Career Counseling Course. Prior to Stern, Allison worked as a Recruiter for J. Walter Thompson (now Wunderman Thompson) and in Business Development at Johnson & Johnson’s online media company called BabyCenter.com. Allison has specialized training in numerous career and personality assessments. 

Education: Allison holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Counseling from Boston University.

Career Coach, International Students

 

Rachel is a global career development expert and higher education leader bringing 15 years of expertise to her career coaching. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Dean of Career Development at the NYU School of Professional Studies, where the graduate student community is over 50% international. From 2008 - 2012, Rachel worked at Stern in MBA International Programs before moving to the Careers team to coach and manage programming for international MBA students. Her work with international students has been recognized by the National Association of Colleges & Employers and the MBA Career Services & Employers Alliance 

Education: Rachel holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs with a focus on international higher education from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Business and Marketing from Muhlenberg College with a concentration in International Business from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.

Before coming to Stern, Nik worked in Publishing focused on constructing new organizational methods and promoting diverse writers within the industry. Currently, Nik is a liaison for students and coaches to connect.
