We are excited to announce Jack Hanlon (MS ’14), AI Product Leader at Meta and Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern, as keynote speaker for Stern's MS Convocation for the Class of 2025!

Jack Hanlon leads GenAI Media at Meta. In this role, he is focused on developing state of the art generative AI and translating that into products to benefit Meta’s 3B+ global users. In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor at the NYU Stern School of Business, where he teaches Retail Strategy & Analytics to MBA students. Previously, Hanlon served as Vice President of Feeds, AI, Search, and Data at Reddit, helping Reddit scale and prepare for their IPO. Prior to that he helped build, scale, and sell Jet.com to Walmart, staying on as an executive at Walmart to help their push to eCom. Before that, he co-founded Kinetic Social, which grew to be one of the largest companies in social media advertising before its ultimate sale. As a result of his work there he was named one of Forbes’ “30 under 30” and was invited to join the Young Entrepreneurs Council. Hanlon is also an Advisory Board Member at Crisis Text Line and Code for Democracy. He is a 2014 graduate of NYU Stern's MS in Business Analytics & AI program and has a BA in Music from the College of the Holy Cross. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner Sarah.
