Excerpt from Poets & Quants — “My favorite MBA tradition at NYU Stern is Follies, our end-of-year comedy show, reflecting on the past year of our collective MBA experience. This event is put together by students, for students, and it is an opportunity to laugh and celebrate the end of our year, as well as fun and funny moments throughout the year. Last year, I had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Vice President on the Board and perform in the show. This year, I am Chief of Staff for the club and I am writing sketches, producing, and performing. I am excited to end the year in the best way we know how – together, celebrating each other!”

Excerpt from Poets & Quants — "That NYU Stern is the only major U.S. B-school to operate a full-time MBA program in the Middle East is not the only way in which its accelerated one-year MBA is unique."
...
"'One of the similarities between this program and the New York program is, we’re looking for the best and the brightest from anywhere in the world,' Salomon says. 'Just like the New York program, we’re looking for people who are intelligent, have the IQ factor and also the EQ factor. That for us is very important. We’re looking for folks, just like New York, who have 2 to, let’s say, 10-plus years’ worth of experience commensurate with a full-time MBA program.
'But there is one difference. And the one difference is that we really are looking to identify people who are interested in building and developing their careers in the region, in Abu Dhabi, in Dubai, in the broader Middle East.'"

Excerpt from Poets & Quants — "Myth: Stern does not have a central campus and we are too spread out."
"Reality: 'We do leverage the city as our campus, and we do have classmates that live all over and outside of the city: That is our superpower and part of what makes the NYU Stern community amazing. We have our central Stern building and Washington Square Park as our go-to meet-up spaces, and it is not uncommon to run into friends throughout the city. We take the opportunity to explore different neighborhoods and immerse ourselves into the city’s culture and we are the better for it. But, being involved at NYU Stern means that you will always have a 'central' part of campus to come to and engage in the community – you get out of it what you put into it!'"

Excerpt from Poets & Quants — "The vibrant city and energetic people of New York are going to offer a unique opportunity to interact with individuals from various cultural and professional backgrounds. I seek to enrich my perspective, and living in NYC is going to enhance my experience. The bustling atmosphere and the city’s relentless pace inspire a strong work ethic and drive for success. I’m excited to build my network in this dynamic environment. And the best part, I can’t wait to explore all the amazing restaurants in Manhattan!"
