NYU Stern & Turku School of Economics Team Up to Host Think Tank on Unleashing Creative Talent in Finland
—
More than 100 academics, business practitioners and government representatives convened in Helsinki this June to explore where and how to unleash hidden creative talent in Finland. In reaction to the economic challenges in Finland, the NYU Stern School of Business and Turku School of Economics (TSE) co-hosted an international Think Tank to brainstorm new opportunities within the country. Using design thinking and three key questions, the participants mined the potential to spark new directions for a country already known as the most literate in the world. One big idea that emerged from the day’s events was the need for Finland to broadcast its talent and unique trust that exists within the population, especially during a time when trust is deteriorating throughout the world in so many of our established institutions.
