NYU Stern Fashion & Luxury MBA students Engage with Top NYC-Based Brands During Their First Semester
—
In May 2019, NYU Stern welcomed the incoming class of Fashion & Luxury MBA students to campus to begin their focused one-year MBA program.
During their first semester, students took courses in both the required Business and Fashion & Luxury cores. The summer curriculum also included a Stern Solutions experiential learning course, the NYC Immersion, with Estée Lauder's beauty brands where, students worked hands-on to provide strategic recommendations regarding consumer purchasing patterns and customer experience.
As part of the NYC Immersion Stern Solutions course, each week students engaged with executives from top fashion and luxury brands in New York City to learn how the industry is rapidly evolving, including BULGARI, Ferragamo, Michael Kors, M.M.LaFleur, Resonance, SoulCycle and Warby Parker.
Throughout the summer, students also met with members of the NYU Stern Fashion & Luxury Council to learn about the role of business in fashion.
