NYU Stern Executive Education to Host SRW&Co.’s 2020 ASEAN Global Leadership Program in NYC
—
The week-long program returns to NYU Stern, convening executives from the ASEAN region to explore themes of globalization, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership
New York, July 1, 2019: The ASEAN region plays a vital role in spurring economic growth and innovation across several industries both in the region and globally. To develop and inspire today’s global leaders, NYU Stern Executive Education will welcome regional management consulting firm SRW&Co. for their ASEAN Global Leadership Program (AGLP), from April 13 to April 17, 2020.
NYU Stern School of Business hosted SRW&Co.’s ASEAN Global Leadership Program in 2018, bringing it to New York City for the first time. Since 2009, the program has been held annually at several top business schools in the U.K., China and the US.
Designed for corporate and public sector executives from a wide range of ASEAN organizations across industries, the weeklong program will explore four key themes: Globalization, Innovation, Analytics and Leadership.
“Once again, in collaboration with the SRW&Co. team, we’re delighted to host a group of esteemed senior executives from South East Asia in April 2020,” said Raghu Sundaram, dean of NYU Stern. “The Stern School has a rich legacy of transformation, harnessing the dreams and energy of New York City and the world beyond, to open new horizons, create new networks and spark new ideas. We look forward to a week full of thoughtful discussion and a lively exchange of ideas with the participants and our faculty.”
“NYU Stern’s Executive Education programs are committed to the belief that a global mindset is a necessity for today's senior business leaders, who are faced with the challenges of promoting growth and driving innovation while being mindful of the bottom line,” explains Robert Salomon, vice dean of executive programs at NYU Stern. “We are honored to continue to collaborate with SRW&Co. and to welcome AGLP participants to our campus.”
“Our program’s key themes and combination of hands-on exercises, dialogue led by some of our most notable faculty and experiential learning components will empower participants to navigate today’s rapidly changing business landscape,” says Naomi Diamant, program director and assistant dean of executive programs at NYU Stern. “Senior executives will emerge with practical takeaways they can immediately implement in their firms.”
Daniel Wong, chairman and partner of SRW&Co., says: “After the successful launch of our first edition of the AGLP in collaboration with NYU Stern in 2018, we received positive feedback from the participants as well as requests to develop a second edition of the program. Drawing on this experience as well as our experience developing some 20 editions of our flagship AGLP program, we have put together a thoughtful and impactful week-long agenda for the participants in close collaboration with Stern faculty.”
