The MBA Media & Entertainment Conference (MEC) is an annual joint effort of students in the MBA programs at Columbia Business School, NYU Stern, Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Duke Fuqua. NYU Stern's Entertainment, Media and Technology Association (EMTA) helped spearhead this year's conference, which was hosted at Columbia University on April 3. Hundreds of students from dozens of business schools gathered to explore the future of media. They heard from keynote speakers Greg Coleman, president of Buzzfeed, and Josh Sapan, president and CEO of AMC Networks; engaged with a variety of panelists; and networked with industry professionals.
