On Friday, October 24, the Luxury & Retail Club held its 8th Annual Luxury & Retail Conference, themed "The Future of Retail." The conference began with an introduction by CNBC retail reporter and Stern alum Courtney Reagan. Breakout panels featured speakers from Tiffany, West Elm, Vince, J.Crew, Bonobos and more. Panels were followed by featured "TED Talk" style talks from Franck Zayan, president of e-commerce at Conde Nast; Aslaug Magnusdottir, co-founder and CEO of Tinker Tailor; and Rachel Shechtman, founder of STORY. The event concluded with a keynote speech by Neil Blumenthal, co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker.
