The degree provides graduates with a forward-thinking blend of business management foundations, leadership, and analytics. The classes are delivered online, asynchronously, with students attending two immersive four-day residencies on campus. The program consists of 33 credits."

Excerpt from The New York Times-- “Ms. Daly said Mr. Gamble had made a 'material change' at her Fed. And improving is a priority because, as she puts it, ‘policymaking reflects those around the table.’ Mr. Gamble is now in a predoctoral program at New York University. Mentors who helped him along the way, including Lisa Cook at Michigan State University, Ms. Daly at the Fed and now Peter Blair Henry — a leading Black economist whom he is working with at N.Y.U. — were critical links in the chain that is leading him to a Ph.D. His story suggests that diversifying is a matter of tearing down structural barriers that have long shut out talented people of color and offering support and inclusion once they arrive.”

A key Pillar of the student experience at NYU Stern’s Undergraduate College is Social Impact, the notion that business can be used to create a positive impact. One way students put this Pillar into action is through the production of The Call For Corporate Action: NYU Stern Student Voices, a magazine of essays written by first-year Stern undergrads that addresses issues facing society where businesses are in a unique position to make change. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of The Call. 

Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "The course is one of four required social impact courses in the undergraduate curriculum at Stern. Stern students are required to take a social impact-focused course each year. Social impact has been baked into the Stern curriculum since 1998 when the school first introduced social impact into undergraduate education. 'It’s the thoughtful spine that runs through the whole undergraduate business education,' Younger says of the required social impact curriculum."
 "[Farm] continued, 'Being an author for The Call gave my ideas a voice. Being an editor for The Call exposed me to issues I had never heard of before and has shown me hundreds of different ways to solve problems.
