Inaugural Accounting and Economics Society Annual Conference

kmc exterior

Hosted by the NYU Stern Accounting Department, the conference aims to provide a forum for the exchange and flourishing of theoretical and theory-guided research in accounting. While the conference focuses on theoretical work, it also invites papers that are guided by economic theory but use other methodologies, such as reduced-form empirical archival research, structural estimation, and experimental research. The conference encourages crossovers with other areas of the social sciences that can contribute to, and benefit from, insights in accounting research. The conference will feature paper presentations with a discussant assigned to each paper, as well as three keynote speakers.
