On Tuesday, May 1, NYU Stern’s Business & Society Program (BSP) and Center for Sustainable Business (CSB) co-hosted the 2018 Ashok C. Sani Distinguished Scholar-In-Residence Lecture, delivered by Alan Murray, Chief Content Officer of Time Inc. and President of Fortune.

On April 27, NYU Stern’s Volatility Institute will host its 10th annual conference entitled, “A Financial Approach to Climate Risk”. 

On April 25, NYU Stern’s Center for Real Estate Finance Research and the Infrastructure Finance Initiative will co-host a joint conference entitled, “The Infrastructure & Real Estate Nexus: Three Case Studies.”

On April 23,  NYU Stern Executive Education will host a fireside chat featuring Professors Tensie Whelan and Robert Salmon. 

In this program, we will examine best-practices related to the business use of social media and digital marketing.

The 2018 Media and Entertainment Conference will take place on Friday, April 13th at NYU's Rosenthal Pavillion. 

Joining the NYU community in creating opportunities to deepen understanding of others' experiences, NYU Stern will host its sixth annual Ally Week from April 9-13.

On April 3, the NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business hosted a public talk with Dr. Lael Brainard, Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

On March 23, NYU Stern’s Latin American Business Association (LABA) will co-host its 2018 Latin American Business Conference, which will focus center around press issues, challenges and achievements in the region. 

On March 22, NYU Stern welcomed John Urschel, PhD candidate in applied mathematics at MIT and former NFL player for the Baltimore Ravens, to campus for a fireside chat with Peter Henry, Professor and Dean Emeritus at Stern.

In this advanced communication program, participants will practice developing and delivering well-crafted, concise messages with clearly defined intents that support their personal brand.

On Wednesday, March 21, NYU Stern will welcome PwC Vice-Chair and US Assurance Leader Maria Castañón Moats to campus for a fireside chat.

This program will introduce you to a variety of analytical frameworks related to leadership and will focus on how to apply those frameworks to analyze and address important leadership challenges.

NYU Stern’s Business & Society Program welcomed Seema Saifee, staff attorney for the Innocence Project, and Darryl Howard, who was exonerated after serving 24 years for a wrongful murder conviction, to speak to an audience of undergraduate Stern students.

On Wednesday, March 14, NYU Stern will welcome Farooq Kathwari (MBA '68), CEO of Ethan Allen, to campus as part of Stern’s “C-Suite Speaker Series.”

On March 5-6, NYU Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business hosted its first annual Practice Forum entitled, “Working Together to Build the Financial Case for Sustainability”.

The NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business will host the Global Investing in China panel discussion on March 5, 2018. 

On March 2, the NYU Stern Private Equity Club (SPEC) will host its 13th annual Stern VC & PE Conference. 

On March 1, The NYU Stern Office of Alumni Relations hosted an installment of the “Author Lecture Series” featuring Professor Melissa Schilling and Bloomberg View’s Justin Fox. The duo discussed findings from Schilling’s new book, “Quirky: The Remarkable Story of the Traits, Foibles, and Genius of Breakthrough Innovators who Changed the World”. 

This program is intended for participants who want to create a culture that values and encourages new ideas. Participants will learn to rethink the habits that have made them successful in the past, and challenge the conventional wisdom and industry models that have defined their business.

On February 28, the NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business will host a fireside chat with Ben Golub, Chief Risk Officer, BlackRock. 

On February 23, 2018, the social enterprise student organizations of New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, School of Law, and Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service will host the 8th Annual NYU Social Innovation Symposium (SIS).
