On September 14, 2018, NYU Stern's Executive MBA Program and NYU Washington DC hosted the first Stern EMBA Speaker Series event at NYU’s downtown DC location featuring Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Brian Brooks.
Mr. Brooks oversees the Legal Department, and Government and Industry Relations. He serves as a senior advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.
NYU Trustee Ronald D. Abramson (WSC '71), Shareholder, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, PC, introduced Mr. Brooks to the audience, which included students from Stern’s Executive MBA Program in Washington, D.C., as well as students and alumni from the greater NYU community in D.C.
Professor Robert Salomon, Deputy Vice Dean of Executive Programs, and Faculty Director of Executive MBA, kicked off the inaugural event.
