Edward I. Altman to Deliver Keynote at NYSSA Wealth Management Summit

To celebrate the tenth year of its popular annual Wealth Management Summit, the New York Society of Security Analysts is presenting a special two-panel, two-keynote speaker format on November 1, 2011.

This year the conference features an opening keynote address from Rod Smyth, chief investment strategist, Riverfront Investment Group. The event will culminate with a closing keynote presentation on sovereign debt today and its position in the global economy from Edward I. Altman, PhD, Max L. Heine Professor of Finance at NYU Stern School of Business and an internationally renowned expert on corporate bankruptcy, high yield bonds, distressed debt and credit risk analysis.

During the program, two panels will bring together major players in wealth management to discuss the nuances of wealth management advisory roles. Panel one focuses on the evolution of asset allocation from traditional, long-only portfolios to portfolios incorporating alternative investments to further reduce portfolio risk. Panel two will discuss advising and working with athletes and entertainers.
