2022 Stern Innovation Conference
—
Date: Friday, September 30
Location: Virtual, register here
On Friday, September 30, NYU Stern's Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation will host its 2022 Stern Innovation Conference, titled, “Building Innovation Portfolios.”
Most managers agree that innovation is an extraordinarily important lever of competition, but there is much less agreement on how managers should construct the firm's innovation portfolio. How should projects be evaluated? How should the firm decide on its mix of R&D investment across different business activities, or across projects with different timelines or levels of risk? How much rigor is going into the project valuation and selection process? How do managers decide when to pull the plug on a project? This year's Stern Innovation Conference theme will be "Building Innovation Portfolios." Come join us to hear the latest in research and practice about how managers create and manage their firms' innovation portfolios, and the lessons they have learned.
