MBA Students Take "Doing Business in… Australia" Course

MBA student Kirsti Lee shares photos from NYU Stern's "Doing Business in... Australia" course.

"DBi Australia at Melbourne Business School was a wonderful experience where 40 Sternies learned that the key to doing business in Australia is predicated on understanding the interplay among the country's political, social and economic climates," said Kirsti Lee (MBA '13). "Over the course of the two-week program, students bonded over barbies (i.e. barbecues) and the polarizing taste of Vegemite. Excursions to cricket matches, the Aussie Open and weekend trips to the Great Ocean Road, Gold Coast and Great Barrier Reef made DBi Australia a highlight to the business school experience. Overall, NYU Stern's DBi programs afford students a tremendous opportunity to explore and understand the nuances of doing-business-in a particular country."
