The Association for Psychological Science (APS) recently named Professor Michael North as one of its “Rising Stars,” a designation which recognizes outstanding psychological scientists in the earliest stages of their career whose innovative work has already advanced the field and signals great potential for continued contributions.
The Journal of International Economics (JIE) awarded Professor Michael Waugh the 2015 Bhagwati Award, a prize given every two years for the best article published in JIE during the previous two years, for his co-authored paper, “The Elasticity of Trade: Estimates and Evidence.”
Research by Professor Jeanne Calderon and Scholar-in-Residence Gary Friedland was cited in a Congressional Report on the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa, a report developed for members of Congress as they consider re-authorization of this program.
